We live in a world marked by prosperity and a high standard of living. The poorest of the poor are often forgotten, for them the fight for survival is a daily challenge. Also the people, whose lives have changed drastically from one day to the next due to unforeseen circumstances, are in need of help. Non-profit humanitarian organizations who are working tirelessly for socially disadvantaged people from all over the world deserve our appreciation and recognition.
Around Christmas, when we are often driven by the hustle and bustle of the season, we should take the time to reflect on the true values of life such as love, kindness and our sense of community and at the same time allow the people who are denied so much of what we take for granted, to partake in our personal happiness.
With this in mind we have decided to forgo Christmas cards and presents. Instead we would like to give our customers, as part of the fivetolife project, a voucher with the possibility to personally and 100 percent support a project from the environmental, social or medical assistance area.
